Photograph is an emotion frozen in time. I’m in love with travelling and exploring new suburbs, sometimes I feel like only by wandering around alone with my camera, I can truly hear the message that one town has to tell. Every segment of the photograph is like a part of completely different world, pieces of towns that are holding entirely different emotions. These subtle sensations that they are radiating with I like to wrap with synthetic overlays, as a correlation to our behaviour in real life. Photographs that I have used are mostly from abandoned quarters or small towns in Serbia that are completely industrially inactive, polluted and rarely inhabited by younger population, but screaming with their own emotion intensely. By combining solid architectural forms with fluid, mild shapes, I wanted to explore the boundaries of these opposites mixed together. When one photograph overlays another, it creates even more sense of spatial depth and things echoing inside of it.  

My goal is to make the observer feel these energies, kind of emotion that we awake when we destroy something that is holy to us. Generations that are coming are feeling stuck in a world that we don’t shelter and take care of. By protecting our environment, we also protect our psyche, creating a sense of love and gratitude for our surroundings. Life would be so much better if people could develop more conscience of the things that make our planet beautiful, and try to nurture them.
