A one-year professional development programme for emerging artists.​

 

The Platform for Emerging Arts is a one-year programme designed to support emerging artists in developing their professional profile, increasing the visibility of their work, and reaching wider audiences.

​

Through a curated online presentation, editorial support and sustained promotion, the programme provides selected artists with a dedicated space to present their practice and build a stronger public presence.

CISTA ARTS is an interdisciplinary and transcultural arts organisation that works across geographic and cultural boundaries. We support artists from the Middle East and beyond, while bringing together practitioners from a wide range of creative and research-based fields.

 

HOW TO APPLY

We would be pleased to learn more about your practice. Please email the following:

• Your full name, email address and telephone number

• An up-to-date CV

• An artist statement

• Details of up to 10 artworks, including title, dimensions, medium, year and price

• A short note explaining how the selected works relate to your current practice or body of work

• Links to your website and relevant social media accounts

Please combine the written information in a single Word or PDF document and attach high-quality images of the artworks.

Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed on a rolling basis.

SELECTED ARTISTS RECEIVE

Each selected artist will receive a dedicated profile page on the CISTA ARTS website, including:

• A unique personal link

• An edited biography and artist statement

• A curated selection of artworks

• Links to the artist’s website and social media

• Public visibility on the CISTA ARTS website for 12 months

PROGRAMME FEE

Applications are free. Selected artists are invited to join the programme for a participation fee of £890.

Current art students may be eligible for a 10% discount upon providing valid proof of enrolment.
