Victoria Vykhodtseva
visual artist and photographer
Victoria Vykhodtseva is a visual artist and photographer whose practice explores themes of solitude, ritual, and the emotional resonance of place, using photography to reflect on cultural and symbolic narratives.
With a background in television and video production, she worked for several years as a director and producer before turning to photography - a medium that offered greater creative freedom and independence. Drawn equally to abstract compositions and candid moments, Victoria seeks out both the unexpected and the quiet poetry of the everyday. Whether documenting remote cultures or urban life, her work is shaped by instinct, curiosity, and a distinctive sensitivity to light and structure. Her photographs have been recognised internationally, with distinctions including a Finalist award at the Siena International Photo Awards 2025, Honourable Mentions from the International Photography Awards, and a category win in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. Recent exhibitions include Espacio Gallery (London), Fotonostrum (Barcelona), the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, and the Xposure Festival in Sharjah.
