Nothing that is used remains unchanged. Objects acquire marks, surfaces become worn, and materials gradually reveal the traces of time, touch and human presence. These subtle transformations tell stories of everyday life, carrying memories of the people, places and experiences that have shaped them.

'Signs of Use' brings together international artists whose practices explore the relationship between material, memory and lived experience. Through diverse artistic approaches, the exhibition considers wear not simply as deterioration, but as evidence of contact, labour, care and transformation.

From familiar objects and repeated gestures to the traces embedded in bodies, images and environments, the works invite us to reconsider what we often overlook. They reveal how materials can hold personal and collective histories, and how the ordinary becomes meaningful through use, repetition and time.

'Signs of Use' invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover the stories that remain within the things we touch, inhabit and leave behind.
