The exhibition Thresholds: Moments That Changed Everything brings together a diverse group of artists responding to the notion of transformation — both monumental and intimate. Held online in July 2025, this exhibition draws its conceptual framework from historical turning points such as the storming of the Bastille, the signing of the American Declaration of Independence, the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, and humanity’s first steps on the moon.
Each of these moments, while rooted in a specific time and place, represents a broader and timeless condition: the threshold — a point of passage where the known gives way to the unknown, and where change becomes inevitable.
This collection of works offers visual meditations on political upheaval, personal awakening, scientific revelation, and cultural evolution. Whether interpreted through abstraction, figuration, digital experimentation or traditional media, the artworks featured in this exhibition speak to moments of rupture and realisation — events that fracture the ordinary and illuminate new paths forward.
The artists featured here interpret thresholds from multiple vantage points. For some, it is the boundary between inner and outer worlds; for others, it is the trace of protest, discovery, or the quiet aftermath of change.
