About the Artist
Alireza Darvish (b. 1968 in Rasht).He graduated in Painting at the School of Fine Arts, 1988 (Teheran, Iran).
1988-1994 He worked as illustrator for art and literature
magazines like “Donyaye Sokhan” and “Naghashe Galam” in Iran.
1989 He won the second price for “Young Painters Conquest” in Iran.
1991-1994 He worked as painting and drawing teacher at the
“Fine Arts Institute” and Atelier Mokab”, In Teheran.
2000 – 2002 Graphic Design course at “inMedia- Bildung GmbH” in Cologne.
He worked for 3 months at “Bavaria Film Studio”, Munich.
2003 He moved to Barcelona, where he lived for three years and worked as
illustrator for different literature magazines such as “Letras Libres” and “DELIBROS”.
2005 He moved to Prague, where he worked as free-lance artist.
2006 He now lives in Cologne, where he works as free-lance artist, mainly as  illustrator
and painter.
